LICENCE AGREEMENT FOR 2GBFIX

Use of the 2GBFIX software is subject to the following terms and
conditions. Please read fully before use. If you are unable to comply
fully with these terms and conditions, please do not use this software.

1. Subject to the exceptions in paragraph 5, the binary form of this
software (i.e. 2GBFIX.COM) may be used by all users of OS/2 on as many
machines as they wish or care to, without charge or payment to the
author, althouth the author would appreciate receiving an email or
other no-cost communication from those who find it useful. Users of
other operating systems which provide virtual DOS environments subject
to the same problem may also use the software on the same terms, with
the proviso that it has not been tested under any other environment
than an OS/2 v4 DOS session. In any case the software is supplied
"AS-IS" and without warranty of any kind.

2. International Business Machines Corporation ("IBM") is further
granted a licence to include this software in a future OS/2 FixPack,
subject to suitable acknowledgement being made in the FixPack
documentation.

3. The software may be redistributed freely via the Internet and other
public means, provided that ONLY the original, unmodified files may be
distributed, and they must ALL be contained with the same archive file.

(I got very annoyed when the last program I released to the Internet
was published all over the place as a bare COM file without the
documentation or other supporting files. If anyone does that to me
again, I WILL make trouble for them with their ISP, whatever software
protection organisations exist in their country, and anyone else I can
think of. You have been warned.)

4. The source code is for the purpose of users to customize the
software to their own requirements ONLY. Modified versions of the
software (source or binary) may only be used on the user's own
machine(s) (or, in the case of an organisation, on machines owned by
the organisation) and MUST NOT be redistributed via the Internet or
other public means. Modifications to the source may be contributed back
to the author for incorporation into a future official release of the
software , though whether this actually occurs is at the sole
discretion of the author. Modified versions of the software must
clearly represent themselves as modified versions of the original.

This software may not be incorporated, either in source or binary form,
into another product without the explicit consent of the author (except
as provided above). If you wish to do this, please contact the author
directly for terms.

5. Microsoft Corporation ("Microsoft"), and any organisation in which
Microsoft owns a controlling interest, is explicitly prohibited from
using or distributing the software except under the following terms:

i) Organisation must pay the author TEN (10) UK POUNDS, or the
equivalent in local currency, for each machine on which the software is
to be used.

ii) Organisation is prohibited from distributing either the original or
modified versions of the software except under terms explicitly agreed
with the author (which won't be cheap).

(Yes, I hate Microsoft and all that it stands for. How did you guess?)
