* IMPORTANT NOTE!
*
* This archive contains the New American Standard Bible for use with the
* CODEX Bible Concordance for OS/2. You will need to do TWO THINGS before
* you can access the New American Standard:
*
* 1. Download Codex version 1.0 or higher. This may be found as
* BIBLE_10.ZIP (which includes the KJV database) or CODEX_10.ZIP
* (which contains only the executable and help files).
*
* 2. PREREGISTER the NASB. Since this is a copyrighted work, it can not be
* freely distributed. So, the database you downloaded is locked,
* meaning that Codex will not read it as is. Once you have properly
* registered its use, you will be emailed the directions on how to
*    unlock it for use.
*
* Sites where Codex files may be found: ftp-os2.nmsu.edu, ftp.cdrom.com in
* the Bethany Bible archive, CompuServe OS/2 Vender B Forum, the BMT Micro
* home page (www.wilmington.net/bmtmicro) or most any popular OS/2 site.

The long-awaited release of the New American Standard (for use with the Codex
Bible Concordance for OS/2) is finally here. This archive is for those users
who have already downloaded and registered a version of Codex already. (It
also REQUIRES Codex verision 1.0 or above, so be sure to download the file
CODEX_10.ZIP or BIBLE_01.ZIP first.)

It also requires preregistration before you will be able to access the NASB.
This is done in the following manner:

Send a check or money order for $20 to Creative Systems at the address below:

Creative Systems
P.O. Box 241111
Anchorage, AK 99524-1111

Your email address is very important because you will receive a numeric
"key" which will allow you to unlock the NASB. Included with Codex 1.0 and
above is a utility named UNLOCK. Once you have been given a key, such as
12345, you would execute the command "UNLOCK NASB.DAT 12345". This would
unlock the NASB file and render it usable by Codex. Simple.

I hope you enjoy the New American Standard, and come to appreciate it as
much as I have over the years. And, as always, thank you for your support.
