SubSys presents:

SmartLaunch V1.1

UPDATE - INFORMATION:
From v1.0 start sldereg.cmd first (to delete the init-string in os2.ini), then run uninstal.cmd to delete all files and objects!
SmartLaunch will not longer access the os2-ini-files.

Files after installation

fileid.diz	short description
readme.txt	this file
liesmich.txt	a program-description in german language
licence.txt	the licence agreement
slaunch.exe	SmartLaunch-program itself
slaunch.ini	file with configuration-data
install.exe	installation-program
install.dat	installation-datafile
smartcon.cmd	a batchfile, see the batchfile for additional information

INSTALLATION & USAGE
Use the install.exe for installation, otherwise the program will not work! During the installation you must setup some paths and settings. You can change these settings later. After installation and setup you can use it:

1.) in PMSEEK:
add a line just like c:\slaunch\slaunch.exe in the pmseek-editor-field,
(with your personal path)
start smartlaunch: doubleclick a file in the searchresultbox of pmseek

2.) from commandline:
launch a file via:
c:\slaunch\slaunch.exe paramter
(with your personal path)
parameter must be a full filepath with drive
e.g. c:\config.sys

3.) WPS
Drag a fileobject and drop it on SmartLaunch programobject.

If smartlaunch is started, you can see more information at the statusline.

Deinstallation:
Run uninstal.cmd to delete all files and objects.

NOTES

Thanx for all betatesters Svobi, Marc and Skotti (nicknames at commTalk.de), special thanx to Carsten Mueller (betatester and author of the DirOpenDialog), and to Pillarsoft (for the great SFX-Installertool).

You can download the newest version of at
HTTP://WWW.SUBSYS.DE

Bugs: PMSEEK has a heavy bug: it doesn't give out the full path of files, when the file or pathname includes a space. Its not a bug of SmartLaunch.

New in version 1.1
- bug fixes: problems with filenames with an empty - char (space) inside.
- bug fixes: smartcon must not longer stay in a Path - directory to work
- new function: Paramters for usertools (e.g. for EPM or MED, see the onlinehelp for paramters)
- Now e.exe will start in foreground (not via WPSLaunch, but userdefined Viewer / Editor.
- new icons: taken from BEOS (I love this icons)
