                          README.INS for
OS/2 Warp for Windows Hebrew NLV
                          'Delta' Install
                 _________________________________

Introduction
____________

This package can be used to install the OS/2 Warp Hebrew NLV support
on top of the US/English version of 'OS/2 Warp for Window'.

After installing this package, the system will function as if the
OS/2 Warp Hebrew NLV has been installed in the partition, except for
a few areas - which are mainly related to 'OS/2 Install' and
'Selective Install'.

The reason that the US/English 'Install functionality' is not modified
by this package, is because the Hebrew NLV Install programs are specially
customized to work with the Hebrew NLV DISKETTES (or CD), which are
not available to the user of a US/English version.

Modifying the install functionality (so that it would be the same as in
the Hebrew NLV) would require the user to have the full set of diskettes
(or CD-ROM) of the Hebrew NLV (which is exactly what we are trying to
avoid by releasing this package!).

Installation
____________

To Install the 'OS/2 Warp Hebrew NLV Delta Install' package, do the following:

  - BOOT from the OS/2 partition which you want to 'upgrade' (to Hebrew).

  - Insert 'Delta Install' diskette 1 to the A: (or B: drive).

  - At an OS/2 command line prompt, type:

    A:INSTALL

  - IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Since the INSTALL functionality of the US/English OS/2 WARP is not
modified, it is necessary to run this 'Delta Install' after each
"Selective Install" that is performed in this partition.

For example, if the user changes the Video driver, installs Fonts,
or re-installs WIN-OS/2 support using the "Selective Install" program,
the system re-installs components that may be US/English components.
After this "Selective Installation" the system is partially English
    and partially Hebrew.

Running the "Delta Install" diskettes (again, after each "Selective
Install") is neccessary, in order to make sure that all components
in the system are the OS/2 Hebrew NLV ones.

You may want to read the README file (on diskette 1, or, after installation,
in the root directory of the OS/2 Warp partition).
