IPass/2 is an addon for the Dial Other Internet Providers (DOIP) dialer with
Warp 4+. It allows you to use the IPass global roaming network to access the
internet through a local ISP if your ISP is an IPass partner.

The program uses a modified version 3.1 of the PPPDIAL.CMD by Don Russell. If
you currently use PPPDIAL.CMD, you should back up your existing copy before
installing IPass/2.

To install, copy the files to the tcpip\bin directory on your boot drive. The
files MUST be installed to this directory. Then create a new entry in DOIP for
the IPass addon. Enter your normal information for userid, domain (your ISP),
com port and other required fields. The phone nunber should be entered as
"ipass"(no quotes), and the login sequence must be "pppdial.cmd" (no quotes).

When you have saved this new entry, press the "Dial" button to complete the
install. The settings page allows you to save your home country, area code
and a dialing prefix. If you know your ISP's IPass code, and enter it where
requested, any dial node that is your ISP will show with an asterisk in the
phone number list (hopefully).

From the "Dialer" page, select the country, region and city as required. The
phone numbers for that area will be shown in the listbox. The FIRST area code
in the list will be entered to the "Local Area Code" field, you may need to
change this if you are not actually in that area code. The "Dial Prefix" may
also be changed at this time. When you have selected the number you want,
press the "Dial" button to attempt the connect. The number to be dialed will
be shown in the DOIP Status listbox. Please watch that this is the proper
number configuration for the area.

You can also bookmark numbers by selecting the number and pressing the
"Bookmark" button. The numbers are added to the "Bookmark" page.

This is the first beta release for this program. While it seems to work on the
limited number of systems it has been tested with, there is no guarantee it
will work on your system. There has been no testing outside the US, so if you
are outside the US I would definitely appreciate any feedback. The scripts for
the SITA network access have not been incorporated as yet, so if you have a
need for SITA access, please send an email.
